Photo of Mayo Clinic's Plummer Building

Remember when the Plummer Building was the tallest building, by far, in Rochester? And it was the main, if not only, Mayo Clinic Building?

Well, that’s no longer the case. Today, you have to look carefully to find it! This picture was taken from the 12th floor of the Mayo Building.

BackĀ in those days when this was the tallest building, going to “the clinic” meant going to the Plummer Building. Today, it usually means going to the Gonda Building or the Mayo building, which is across the street to the west.
