One of Howard Counties oldest residents, Floyd Foote, passed away a few days ago at 102!
After reading his obituary and the messages left by friends, I’m sorrow that I didn’t know him. He sounds like a wonderful man to have had within one’s circle of friends.

And to spend 37 Winters in Donna, TX! I wonder if that’s a record. Many retirees spend 10, or possibly 20 or 25, years down along the Rio Grand —but 37! They must have had a great time down there.
