Adella Laue
Adella “Dell” Laue, Don Laue’s wife of nearly 63 years, passed away Monday after a long illness.
Don grew up in our neighborhood NE of Lime Springs and graduated from LSHS. His dad, Rich Laue, quit farming and moved to Cedar Rapids and worked for Collins Radio Company. After Don’s stint in the navy, he, too, worked there. Don and I worked in the same division. Don and Dell both worked in Cedar Rapids for many years. Then they moved to Melbourne, FL, where Don continued to work for the company.
They retired to Cedar Rapids, so they could be near their family.
