Today’s Rambling Thoughts

Today’s rambling thoughts include at least one which I forgot to mention yesterday.

And oh, by the way, the picture above has nothing to do with this article. I was out for a scooter ride this evening and thought the clouds were beautiful so I took a few pictures. This is one of them!

Doug Sloan Improving

This is the best news I’ve reported for a long time: Doug Sloan is home and slowly improving!

Doug is the son of Lee and Sheryl (Moldt) Sloan of Jefferson. Doug’s health issues began about two months ago with pancreatitis. It’s been a long, tough, struggle and it’s still going on. But at least he is finally home and mending, with the help of his wife Jennifer. Friends and neighbors have been helping Jennifer by bringing in meals so she has more time to provide specialized care to Doug.

Hannah’s Articles

Hannah

Hannah, whose articles appear in their local paper and also here on The Lime Springs Page, is Doug and Jennifer’s daughter. We got a bit behind in publishing her weekly stories, but not because she didn’t write them. We got behind because Jennifer, who usually puts them on the site, was far too busy caring for Doug and the rest of their family to put them on the site. And I was not aware that was happening; my bad. Now, I’m trying to post one or more every few days.

Hannah has just completed her Freshman year in high school. Her writing shows a degree of maturity that I’m certain that I didn’t have at that age! If you haven’t done so, I suggest you pop on over to “her” page and read one or more!

Comments on the New Format

Another rambling thoughts: What do you think of this new format?

A few weeks ago, I changed the format and therefore the look of The Lime Springs Page.  I believe it made it easier to get to articles you might choose to read. Did it?

I’d appreciate a comment from you regarding the new format. Just comment in the Comment section below. Or email me. Or phone me. I don’t care how I get it, but I would really like to know how you feel about it.

By the way, if you use the Comment section below, it is very easy for me to make it visible so all other readers can see your comments and ideas —sort of like Facebook.
