What, Ethanol Isn’t Useful?

A few days ago, The Gazette had an article whose premise was that ethanol was not a good idea. The GREEN Party is now anti-ethanol!

What can you believe?

I’ve always felt that way, but for a different reason. I feel that way simply because when you consider the energy it takes to produce it and the energy you get out of it, it is simply not an efficient way to make things run. Of course, if gasoline was simply not available, or was available only at a much greater cost, the equation would change. But that’s not the case today.

Here’s another article which gives some anti-ethanol points: http://www.forbes.com/sites/stevensalzberg/2016/04/25/why-are-we-growing-corn-to-fuel-our-cars-three-reasons-why-ethanol-is-a-bad-idea/#4b6152003498

What, Flossing Doesn’t Help?

As if that wasn’t enough, a day or two ago the medical news on Good Morning America (see, I do not watch Fox News 24-hours every day!) was that there is no identifiable benefit to flossing our teeth!

What, Global Warming Isn’t Man Caused?

Who knows, tomorrow even Al Gore might conclude that man did not cause the current “global warming.”

Although politicians might not give a hoot about the flossing finding, the other two issues would or will certainly cause them to scramble.
