Wayne Roberts Gardening

When in Texas, we like to touch base with Wayne Roberts every once in awhile. Four years ago, he gave us a tour of his garden, shown here. If your eyes are really good, you can see golf-ball-sized tomatoes.
A few days ago, Wayne sent a note saying that he had begun harvesting and enjoying this year’s crop of tomatoes! He’d had his first tomato of the season.
To grow tomatoes or much of anything else in the San Antonio area requires real dedication. Obviously, Wayne has provided the water and tender loving care necessary to grow these delicacies.
Now he’s enjoying the fruit of his labors!
