Sundays were created as a day of rest and that’s pretty much what we try to do on Sundays! Today our Sunday activities were pretty typical.
I attended church service at 9:00 here at our clubhouse. Then I went home and drank a cup of coffee. That’s noteworthy only because I seldom drink coffee!
You probably know what I did after lunch! Yep, a short nap! Then I went to our pool room and shot two tables of balls. Clearly, I need the practice.
Pat had a variety of Sunday activities today. She knit some, played some games on her tablet, and colored in her coloring book —adult coloring book she would be quick to add!
I did some website work, including trying to figure out how to get some news from Rochester, Waterloo, and Des Moines to automatically appear on The Lime Springs Page. There are some possibilities, but none were implemented today.
We went to a nearby Subway for supper. In fine Welsh tradition, we had a coupon so the total cost was $8.50!
Then home again and more TV and games for Pat. More “computing” for me, including writing this.
This will probably be the last what-we-did-today article, at least for awhile. Since I finally got Internet service, I wanted to use it and let you know I was still around after the long unplanned absence.
I’m also experimenting with the ads, as you might have noticed. That will probably continue.
