Happy New Year: 2015!

Happy New Year!

2014 has less than six hours left, here in the central time zone.

Where’d the year go? What was accomplished? Good questions and questions which are harder to answer each year.

For Pat and me, the biggest surprise of the year was being invited to be the Grand Marshal of the Sweet Corn Days Parade. What an honor, one I never expected. It’s different seeing the parade watchers, rather than seeing the parade!

28 days to a Private Pilot's License. But now, Happy New Year!

Pilot’s License
In Record Time

My personal most memorable accomplishment was teaching a young man to fly in 28 days! Yes—first lesson on day one, license in hand on day 28! I’ve never heard of one doing it in less time.

Pat and I achieved the level of Direct Jobber for our efforts with AMSOIL. Several of our Dealers made that possible, including Earl and Betty Walker who are our longest-time dealer.

A memorable activity which we both enjoyed was our trip “back East” to visit two aviation museums and several sets of friends or relatives in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.

2015 Plans or Goals

Goals other than “lose 20 pounds,” that is.

Our vacation destination is already determined: the Black Hills of South Dakota! There are way too many people and cars back East! We’re headed back to our favorite place.

We’ll attend the AMSOIL Direct Jobber convention in Superior, WI, in May.

A good revamping of The Lime Springs Page and limesprings.com would help increase the number of readers. Will they get it? —they’re on the list.

But for now….

Happy New Year!

We want to wish our readers a very Happy New Year!

Thanks for your loyalty! Please encourage others to read The Lime Springs Page.
