Winter is Over; Leaving Texas
After an enjoyable four months here in Mission, we’re heading back to Iowa Tuesday morning. Sometime Wednesday, we should be leaving Texas, thus ending life as a winter Texan for this season.
Lots of people will be leaving this week. And many more April 1.
Things start slowly in the Fall. For example, our park’s church services begin November 2. About December 1, most activities begin in earnest. And the entertainment usually begins in January.
Back Next Year
We’ve enjoyed it so much the last two years that we’ve made arrangements to return to the same lot next season.
We are hoping for a bit nicer weather next winter!
