Wales’ Beauty

By kaw / 10 years ago

When you see the Wales' beauty in these photos, you might wonder why so many of the early residents of Lime Springs left their homeland!

Here's an tongue-in-cheek article giving made-up reasons not to visit the land of my forefathers. Each reason is illustrated with a beautiful picture taken in Wales.

Picture 22 is of Caernarfon Castle, in the town of the same name. It's in northern Wales and just across a strait from the island of Angelsey. Pat and I have visited this castle.

Caernarfon is the town to which my aunt and uncle, Blodwen and Rev. R. Lewis Jones, moved to after he retired from the ministry. I never visited them there, but did visit his niece and her family (the Joneses!) who lived in nearby Bangor on two occasions.
