Wayne and Pat
A cold Coke was enough to entice a weary traveler off I-380 this afternoon for a short rest.
As he’s done before, Wayne was on his way from Southern Illinois to Lime Springs. He was thoughtful enough to give us a call when he was about 25 miles out, we told him where we lived, and had a good but short visit.
The visit can be continued Monday at the Memorial Day program in Lime Springs (10 am).
Pat and I’ll be there, Wayne will be there, and I bet a few other friends from years back will be there, too.
