Paul Lidtke

Lime Springs lost another hard-working citizen Wednesday: Paul Lidtke.
I remember him, as well as his brothers, working at their father’s mill in Old Town when we took oats there to be ground. Also, I remember Paul playing football when I was in the eighth grade and he was a senior.
Then, “life happened” and we both were busy with our jobs and families. After retirement, Paul and Donna moved to Lime Springs where I would see him on Sweet Corn Days. That’s when this picture was taken.
Our sympathy goes out to Donna and Paul’s family.
