Music is a huge part of our lives. It’s what we listen to when we’re sad, when we’re happy, and when we feel like dancing. Music helps us focus, but can also distract us for hours. Music is everywhere, in commercials, in TV shows and movies, on the radio, and in our own minds.
I listen to music whenever I have to do homework. It helps me tune out other distractions, and makes it easier to focus on the task at hand. I have found that when I listen to music, I get done with my homework faster than I normally do. However, this only works with certain kinds of music. There are some songs that are “forbidden” when I’m working, because I know that if I listen to them, I won’t work. Instead, I’ll jump up and start dancing.
Sometimes, I get overwhelmed, with school, homework, piano lessons, Tae Kwon Do lessons, writing articles, and everything else that I have going on. When I feel overwhelmed, its nice to unwind by going on a bike ride and listen to some of my favorite music.
Music is one of the most personal things in this world. Aside from, say, a diary or something of that kind. No two people like all the exact same songs. There is so many different types of music, from pop, to rock, country, classic, and so many more smaller categories inside the bigger categories.
It isn’t just the people who listen to music. Music is a huge business nowadays. There are so many different bands and singers, and it’s incredible how they all come up with different tunes and lyrics. I like how everyone interprets music differently. Usually, with a book, the reader’s will have a good idea of what the author is telling them. Music is different. There isn’t one clear meaning to a song, and it can mean different things to everyone.
Music is a huge part of my life. I love to play the piano (as much as it can sometimes frustrate me), and listening to music is one of my favorite pastimes. I like how music is personal, and everyone can have a different idea about the meaning of a certain song or music video. Music is one of the best things in our world. Enjoy it. See you next week!
