The Lime Springs Herald is setting! After somewhere around 100 years of publication, after next week it will be no more.
Most of us who grew up in the area are familiar with the story of a young Carl Cassidy coming to Lime Springs as a teenager, buying the paper, and publishing it "for a long time." Knowing that it will no longer be with us is saddening.
