A brief news article in the Cresco Times announced that Lime Springs Beef has ceased operation.

This is not the sort of news we Lime Springers were looking forward to hearing! Many of us were hoping that it would be a resounding success and bring positive changes to our town and the area.
Lime Springs Beef: Looking Ahead
I hope the Board and their consultants come up with changes and implement them quickly.
The plant operated for three months, producing Upper Iowa Beef products. I heard that the product sold well, so sales was not an issue.
