Carol Miller Scherb Passed Away
Carol Miller Scherb, daughter of the late Eddie and Helen Miller, passed away March 4 at her home in Northwood, Iowa.

Year’s ago (late 1940s?), her parents and oldest brother, Eddie Jr., lived on the farm directly north of our farm. That was the farm on which Russell and Rosie Stevenson lived for many years. At that time, the only child in the family was Eddie Jr. Because of the age difference, I didn’t know any of the Miller children except Eddie Jr.
Now I know her sister, Janet DeVries, as she is the librarian in Lime Springs.
I’m sure there are many people who have benefited from Carol’s care over the years. People working in social services and treatment centers are very special people, so not only will she be missed by her family but buy the special friends for whom she cared.
