Armed Forces Recognized by WVU Marching Band
Some friends loved this half-time performance by the West Virginia University Marching Band. And I loved it. I thought other readers of The Lime Springs Page might love it, too.
Remembering 9/11
This is an appropriate way to remember the day which changed the life of every American. It made us pay more attention to and appreciate even more what those in uniform do to protect all of us.
And here I mean everyone in any kind of uniform, not just the US Armed Forces. Think firemen, policemen, nurses, school-crossing guards and all the others. (Yes, even the TSA folks—at least for today.)
This is a good day to say, “Thank You!” if you happen to see one.
