Where Does This Info Come From?

Whether or not you’ve ever wondered where the info in articles on The Lime Springs Page comes from, I’m going to tell you. Just where does this info come from, anyway?

Several sources, actually.

A lot of times, it just pops into my head. This article is an example of that. It all started by thinking, “Gee, I really should post something, anything, so loyal readers will have something new to read.”

Sometimes there’s a hot topic in Lime Springs, the state, the nation, or the world which piques my interest and prompts a post. (This system calls what you and I might call an “article” a “post” so I might do the same. I use the two words interchangeably.) Unfortunately, just because I find a subject interesting doesn’t mean that you do! But then it’s good for the head, isn’t it? to have a variety of info going into it.

An email from someone can easily prompt an article, especially if it has to do with people from Lime Springs (or related to someone who once lived in Lime Springs or who saw the road sign “Lime Springs” or who saw it on a map once.)

The Lime Springs Herald prompts lots of articles! It might print something which reminds me of some one or some event. I just might write an article for this page expanding on the Herald’s article. I might even write to Marcie, who sometimes turns my comments into a Letter to the Editor.

By the way, did you know that there’s a lite version of the Lime Springs Herald available on the Internet? It’s at lsherald.com!

Facebook is now a big source of information, although that info doesn’t usually prompt the writing of an article. It does give us some insight into what our family and friends are doing and where they are doing it.

I still don’t have an answer to this question: Why will folks tell the whole world what they are doing, but not their family? Do any of you have an answer to that question, other than the obvious: “Keith, they really don’t like you!”

Sometimes I do something to promote my internet marketing business. For example, once I wrote an article on how easy it is to buy from amazon.com and how broad their offering is. Of course I suggested that readers simply click on any Amazon ad here on The Lime Springs Page. Many regularly do buy from amazon.com, so my goal is to simply motivate them to go to amazon.com from this page. If they do that, I’ll get a small “advertising fee” each time an article is shipped which they bought after going there from this page.

THANK YOU to those who do buy from this page!!

My new Samsung tablet provided an excuse for several articles, usually video articles. I like to try new things. Readers are the guinea pigs! Hopefully, these sorts of things don’t bore you too much and that you might actually enjoy some of them.

Those are some of the reasons. I’ve kept busy. You’ve kept busy. I’ll call this the end for this article.

But there may be more sources of info. They’ll be in another article.
