That’s what this Thanksgiving weekend seemed like, two Sundays and two Saturdays! Wasn’t it great?
I’m about footballed out. The OK vs. OK State game is still grinding away, but at 58 to 23 it doesn’t warrant much of my attention so I’ll try to get this quick article out.
Why? Because I put it on my to-do list for today and want to cross it off, that’s why.
Thanksgiving
Yes, we have Thanksgiving down here in Texas, too! And if you happen to live across the street from Lila Goetsch Helm, you have something extra for which to be thankful! She invited us to dinner, along with her brother Gary and Mary. It was a great dinner, to be sure!
But we have a lot of other things to be thankful for, too. Family and good friends, all over the world, share the top of the list —alongside relatively good health for both of us. Personally, I’m very thankful that my new hip is working just fine!
Pat is thankful that she’s not dealing with 20-something degree temperatures. I’m thankful that we got here safely.
