I believe it was in my last article that I expressed interest in learning to play a banjo. The urge became too great and I purchased one three days ago.
Things aren’t going well! It’s possible that these ol’ fingers are both too stiff and too fat to make playing a banjo in the classic style impossible. And they certainly are not fast; yet another problem.
Plus, I’m not musically inclined. I can’t play by ear and I can’t sing.
But I love music! Time will tell whether this was a reasonable expenditure or if this fine banjo will be offered to someone else on Craig’s List.
