If you play golf, you may already know Joey O. I don't and I didn't.
But now, thanks to making an AMSOIL call on a prospective account, I, too, now know Joey O!
I was leaving the store of a prospective account. There's a small golf course behind his store. There were a few guys hitting balls, but one fellow got my attention.
He was riding a unicycle!! I thought, "How clever! He just doesn't want to walk the course."
As I drove away, I thought, "I need a picture of that!" so I circled around, stopped, whipped out my brand-new cellphone with a super camera, walked onto the course and promptly met Joey O.
Joey's from Cedar Rapids but lives in Arizona now. Except for the Summer, which he spends right here in Cedar Rapids.
Joey's an entertainer, using his skills as an acrobatic golf expert as the vehicle to deliver his point.
He delivers his motivational speeches all over the world and counts Bob Hope and President and Mrs. Ford as his friends. This sounds like another fellow from Cedar Rapids who has done well in sports, alongside Zak Johnson and Kurt Warner.
