These deaths happened weeks ago, but if you’re not in the area or not well connected with Lime Springs, you still might not know of them. I figure it’s better to learn of them late than not learn of them at all, so here are two death notices.<\/p>\n

Dick Koliha<\/h2>\n

One is the passing of Dick Koliha. He lived just north of the IA\/MN border, on the blacktop headed to York. (When’s the last time you thought of York?) I remember Dick stopping at my parents home with some home-grown sweet corn or tomatoes or something from his garden. He was a great and caring citizen of our area.<\/p>\n

George Frey<\/h2>\n

Few readers of The Lime Springs Page knew George Frey. His connection to Lime Springs was\u00a0through his wife, Eileen.<\/p>\n

Eileen was a classmate of mine at LSHS and the sister of Kenny Peter. And everyone<\/em> knew Kenny, so now you know the connection!<\/p>\n
