Whoops!
When I looked at The Lime Springs Page this morning, I was surprised that I still saw the Christmas page. That was not the intent at all.
On New year's Day, I revised the page to wish you all a Happy New Year and to fly the colors of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
But my quality control slipped. I goofed and didn't catch it until today. The Christmas page remained the page you saw when you came to the site until just a few minutes ago.
My apologies, and a belated Happy New Year to you!

As I write this, the Iowa game has just begun and Iowa has just scored 7 points. Check back later today to see what color scheme this page has.
I'm not big on New Year's resolutions, but I still have hopes that I'll come up with a new format for this site which will increase participation. I'd like YOU to do more writing more often and me do less.
I just know there are lots of good writers from Lime Springs. I saw another example this week, when I received an email from Anna Lee. The first paragraph was beautifully written! Mrs. Owen would have been pleased.
Enough for now. There's a game or two that I'd like to watch today!
